David is very free with his ideas and philosophy, similar to the approach we take at Balfoort Consulting, as the key success factors in professional consulting are not composed of cutting edge methodologies, models, schematics and theory, as so many believe, but are simply put as "Love and respect thy client" and "Know thy business inside out". You will enjoy reading sections of his site on www.davidmaister.com

As part of the current research I am doing on Whistle Blowing (see our section Publications for an Introduction to the book I am writing), I have come across a number of useful sites related to whistleblowing which I recommend you read in case you happen to face some of the situations I have faced. They are as follows:

www.whistleblowing.org
A very useful first hand account of a father and son whistleblowing team in the USA who have survived their ordeals and have come out stronger.

www.whistleblower.org
A site set up by the Government Accountability Project (GAP) in the USA which provides useful tips and resources to whistle blowers.

Over time I have also read many articles and overviews from a company called Self Leadership International. Self Leadership International provides training, consulting and coaching in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Thailand and the Middle East. They train, coach and consult on the topics of Self Leadership, People Leadership, Team Leadership, Customer Leadership and Strategic Leadership. These topics are usually very important but during the current parallel crises , economic and health wise, Leadership, especially of Self, is even more crucial. Please visit their site and blog on Self Leadership International when you have some time.

I would recommend you visit my friend Martin Davies' blog on www.prmia.org/Weblogs/General/MartinDavies1/. Martin always has an interesting way of looking at the world and events from a professional risk management point of view combined with a very interesting way of pulling together different disciplines, from metaphysics, philosophy to hardcore professional disciplines.

Finally, this website would not be off the quality that it is, with regular updates made faithfully and promptly, if it wasn't for our friend Adrian Cheah, who personally designed and maintains the site. Adrian can be found at www.neosentuhan.com.my.
